Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2025

We take data stewardship seriously. If you have questions about this policy or need a signed DPA, contact legal@locationos.ai.

1. Overview

LocationOS helps teams make explainable site decisions. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal data across our marketing site, product, and related services.

2. Data we collect

  • Contact information you share with us (name, work email, company).
  • Usage analytics from our marketing site and product (page views, feature usage, device data).
  • Customer data you upload to the platform, which is processed under your direction.
  • Support conversations, feedback, and survey responses used to improve the product.

3. How we use data

  • Deliver and improve the LocationOS product experience.
  • Respond to demo requests, support tickets, and pilot programs.
  • Send product updates, onboarding materials, or marketing communications (you can opt out at any time).
  • Maintain platform security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing & subprocessors

We do not sell personal data. We rely on vetted infrastructure and analytics providers to operate the service (e.g., hosting, authentication, communications). A current subprocessor list is available via our DPA request page, and we will notify customers of material changes.

5. Data retention

We retain customer data for the duration of the contract and delete or return it within 60 days of termination unless law requires longer retention. Marketing inquiries are retained for up to 24 months to support follow-up conversations.

6. Your rights

  • Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing activities.
  • Export data you have provided to us.
  • File a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you believe your rights are infringed.

7. Security

LocationOS uses industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, auditing, and regular security testing. A detailed security overview is available on request.

8. International users

We may process data in the United States and other countries where our subprocessors operate. When transferring data from the EU, EEA, or UK we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards.

9. Updates

We will update this policy as our practices evolve. Significant changes will be announced via email or in-product notice. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision.
